Bellfounder has invested $600K in Space, supporting the company as it builds its next stage of growth.
Today we are pleased to welcome Space to the Bellfounder portfolio. We invested $600K as part of the company’s Pre-seed round, with the broader round raising $2.4M.
What Space does
Space appears as a normal drive on a computer while keeping files in the cloud. It streams only the data an application needs, allowing users to open and edit large files without waiting for full downloads or filling local storage.
Why we invested
Large creative and technical files have become normal, but traditional storage still makes teams move and duplicate those files. Space takes a different route by making cloud storage behave like local storage while keeping the heavy data off the machine. We invested because the product solves a familiar problem in a simple way and can serve both individual creators and teams.
What comes next
Our investment will help Space improve performance, broaden compatibility and grow its customer base among teams that work with large files every day.
