Bellfounder has invested $500K in ClaimQI, supporting the company as it builds its next stage of growth.
Today we are pleased to welcome ClaimQI to the Bellfounder portfolio. We invested $500K as part of the company’s Pree-Seed round, with the broader round raising $500K.
What ClaimQI does
ClaimQI helps health plans review claims against coverage rules, codes and policy language. The company focuses on finding fraud, waste and abuse before losses grow, while producing explanations that can be traced back to the rules behind each determination.
Why we invested
Healthcare payment systems are complex, and small errors can become expensive when they repeat across large volumes of claims. ClaimQI is focused on a concrete operational problem for payers and is building a product that puts the reasoning behind a claim decision into a form teams can review and defend.
What comes next
We are backing the company as it brings its platform to more health plans, expands its payer portal and builds the relationships needed to make payment integrity more proactive.
