Bellfounder has invested $725K in Bower, supporting the company as it builds its next stage of growth.
Today we are pleased to welcome Bower to the Bellfounder portfolio. We invested $725K as part of the company’s Pre-seed round, with the broader round raising $2M.
What Bower does
Bower is building a research platform that captures work as it happens, including observations, decisions and experimental context. Its smart-glasses interface and software turn day-to-day lab activity into a structured record that teams can search, share and reuse.
Why we invested
Scientific organisations carry enormous amounts of knowledge in the heads of researchers and in fragmented records. Bower is tackling that problem close to where the work happens, helping teams preserve context instead of reconstructing it later. We invested because the product connects a clear operational need with a large and specialised research market.
What comes next
We will support Bower as it works with more research organisations, expands its platform and makes scientific knowledge easier to preserve and transfer between teams.
